I scream, You scream...

Ice Cream Social & Dedication of Rotary Park

The City and the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale Rotary Club together have been actively involved in enhancing the Gateway Trail's use.  On July 14, the newly-built trailhead in North St. Paul will get a new name - Rotary Park.  Its dedication is to recognize the partnership and commitment of the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale Rotary Club who helped make the construction of the trailhead possible and plan to build a park shelter and permanent restroom facility.  Rotary Park will serve community members and users of the trail as an area of recreation, connection and rest.  It is also an ideal location for activities, events and community gatherings.  Presently there are 32 parking spaces, a picnic area, drinking fountain, temporary restroom facilities, interpretive signage and plans to install bike racks.  The trailhead, soon to be known as Rotary Park, will serve a number of people and will add to North St. Paul's park system as well as better connect users to the downtown core.

Join the excitement at the Ice Cream Social and Dedication and enjoy a complimentary sweet and chilly treat!

When & Where: SAT July 14, Noon-2PM @ the Gateway Trailhead (off of North St. Paul Drive and 2nd Street near the wind turbine)
