NSP Historical Society Presents 'Pieces of History' On display now through Dec. 31 at City Hall.
Discover the rich history of North St. Paul through your local history museum! Enjoy a collection of artifacts and other objects that tell the story of North St. Paul! Art pieces coincide with the 125th Anniversary events.

History Cruzer's Car Show FRI June 1 - Sept 14
Take a cruise back in time--an annual Friday night tradition. Known as one of North St. Paul's favorite summertime events, the History Cruzer's Car Show displays hundreds of cars and brings the food and entertainment too! Also, North St. Paul Farmers' Market is back! Fresh locally grown produce and more! located at the former City Hall lot. Fridays starting at 2PM.

Cowern Students Research Projects On display now through May at City Hall.
Twenty-four advanced learners from Cowern School's third, fourth, and fifth grade classes are among the newest North St. Paul history buffs! In honor of the City's 125th Anniversary, students spent 10 weeks researching the City, which included a field trip to the North St. Paul historical Museum and a selected topic of their choosing. After much research, students organized their notes, created a well-developed bibliography, and designed a project which they are eager to share. The Cowern students and the City of North St. Paul invite you to come down to City Hall to take a look! Projects will be on display now through May.

Geocaching June - Aug.
Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enable devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at the location. During the summer months of June through August, North St. Paul will be partnering with local organization Wahoo! Adventures to help tell the story of North St. Paul through a GPS guided history tour. GPS and mapping will be available at the North St. Paul Community Center starting in June.

Ice Cream Social SAT July 14 Noon-2PM at the Gateway Trailhead. Complimentary Ice Cream!
Hosted by North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale Rotary Club. Ice Cream stands and shops are sure to be popping up all over during the summer--and this year so will North St. Paul! The Ice Cream Social will take place at the Gateway Trailhead just off of North St. Paul Drive and 2nd Street near the wind turbine. Come enjoy the summer heat, good company, and a sweet (and chilly!) treat! Scoops up!

Old Tyme Baseball Game & Community Photo FRI July 20 at 7PM Kuenkel Field.
Come have a ball in North St. Paul! Baseball as we know it today is undoubtedly one of America's favorite pastimes, yet the history and tradition of the much loved sport often goes untold. The humble beginnings of the game tell a compelling story of its evolution and its charm Americans can't seem to get enough of. On July 20, the City of North St. Paul will help tell that story as it celebrates its 125th Anniversary with an 1860s inspired "American game of ball" that continues to capture the hears of people everywhere. It's sure to be a grand ole time at Kuenkel Field!

Silver Lake Splash SUN July 22 1-5PM
If it weren't for the Silver Lake Splash Beach lifeguards, Silver Lake would not be the safe and enjoyable beach it is today! Every July, North St. Paul residents show their appreciation to those lifeguards who dedicate their time by hosting the Silver Lake Splash--a fundraiser that is sure to raise more than just a few splashes! Bring the family and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon on the beach complete with great food, live music, boat parade, games and crafts for the kids, silent auction and more!

Fall Parade THURS Sept. 13 at 7PM
In anticipation of the fall season and leaves changing, the North St. Paul Fall Round up Parade will be sure to draw a lively crowd! Parade participants will provide entertainment and bring lots of smiles as they march the streets of downtown North St. Paul. This year’s parade coincides with North High’s Homecoming Week – royalties will also be presented during the parade. Come celebrate with North St. Paul!


Tour ‘de North St Paul 5K SAT Sept 15 Discover the many gems along the way.
Join the City of North St. Paul in a 5K walk/run through the city in memory of Mayor Bill Sandberg who served as the town Mayor for over 30 years, beginning in 1978. His passing in 2008 due to a short-lived battle against Leukemia was a sad and unfortunate event; however, his legacy and dedication to the City of North St. Paul remains strong.
